I was listening to the Pet Shop Boy’s EP, Agenda. Aside from thinking of the parallels wit World Order, I realized I couldn’t listen to the lyrics without getting unexpectedly depressed.
I joke about the wealthy doing a great job emulating the French aristocracy, shortly before the 10 inch haircuts started that is. But hearing it to music is another level of incisive.
Sometimes you’d think the worlds insanity would have a maximum level. Unfortunately it seems the economists theories about the creation of wealth can also apply to the ever-increasing bullshit that happens, most of which we now just /shrug at.
What can we do but struggle to overcome, and improve our own lives in an effort to maintain our energies and sanities at maximal composure?
PS: what a weird time to bring another human into the world.
